I am currently on the lookout for the perfect chair to add to our bedroom. It would make a perfect reading and studying corner. Here are some inspirations.
Notice the little leaning details of the starfish and vase on the edges of the mirror. The stacked baskets are the perfect place to hide odds and ends. The bird pillow ties the chair into the seaside theme (or its just another example of put a bird on it!)
I love the use of color. I'm not sure if I'll ever be brave enough to do this but I figure that if I look at enough pictures of bright, cheery rooms that eventually it will rub off on me. Hopefully this will be ok with the hubby who's personal style is more along the lines of mahogany paneling against clean, white walls with lush green accents.

I like the traditional coastal look in the first picture. I've been seeing the yellow and gray fabric (pillow in the 2nd pic) a lot lately. Love it! Good luck...whatever you pick out will be gorgeous:)
